This set of photos reveals the inner worlds of its subjects. Each person stands with words projected onto them, except the words are not their own: they're someone else's. meant to maintain a sense of anonymity and reflect the delicate nature of identity, and most importantly, subvert assumptions and question the viewer.
Every participant was asked to write words down that remind them of some area of their life, whether it be their identity, how they perceive themselves, or how others perceive them, positive or negative.
